Fayetteville, Arkansas
Elizabeth Gunn
Owner & Founder
Hi there — I'm Elizabeth.
I love those three more than anything in this world, and I could not possibly be prouder of them.
My career was medical sales, marketing, and management. That lasted 25 years, and I spent the last 10 of them thoroughly burned out.
Not by the work. By watching coverage decisions stop being about patients and start being about money, over and over, until I couldn't unsee it.
Then the company restructured, and my whole position went with it.
Single mother. Kids in college. No income of any kind. And lighter than I'd felt in twenty years.
People hear that and assume it's a story about bouncing back. It isn't. I'm just like this. I have never met a situation I couldn't find the good in, or a person I couldn't find something to love about — and I didn't come by that naturally. I built it on purpose, and it has never once let me down.
So now I run two businesses out of Fayetteville. One of them puts your logo on things and does it right. The other one is about Arkansas.
The brand
An Arkansas brand about Arkansas
Not a team. Not a mascot. Not a fight song. The Ozarks, the Delta, the rivers, the gravel roads, and the porch you sit on when it finally cools off in October.
You don't have to be from here. You just have to love it here.
I have never needed to know how somebody votes to know whether I want them on my porch, and I'm not starting now. Born here, moved here, or just left a piece of yourself here — congratulations, you're on the A list.
Some of my favorite people on earth have almost nothing in common with me, and that is precisely why I love them. Everybody walks in with a whole backstory nobody thought to ask about, and it's usually the best thing about them. Come as you are, wear the shirt, and let's get to the good part.
Shop ArkanHOG™ →What I'm building
Not a mission statement — a to-do list
The people wearing ArkanHOG™ on the site are going to be actual Arkansans, doing actual Arkansas things. You already look good out there. I just need the picture.
I'd rather hire the shop down the road than a stranger three states over. Services, partnerships, events — if you're building something here, I want to work with you.
When I'm ready to hire, I'm looking at veterans, and I'm looking at the people everybody else walks right past. The clerk out-working the entire store at seven in the morning — I see it, and I have a very good track record of being right about people. That's a real plan, not a nice sentence.
I make good things and I'm not apologizing for what they cost. But there will always be something on that site you can afford, because nobody gets left out of this one.
Screen printing · Embroidery · Decorated apparel
Here's how this normally goes. Somebody sends me a logo, I print the logo, everybody's happy.
But I have never once managed to keep my mouth shut when I can see a better version of the thing sitting right there.
Wrong garment for the job. A logo that's going to disappear at that size. A placement that would hit twice as hard two inches over. Embroidery where you were about to pay for print. I've been doing this long enough that I can see it coming, and I would so much rather tell you now than after you're standing in a garage with 200 of them.
Then it's completely your call. Take the advice or don't — you're getting something made properly either way, and I will not be weird about it.
Teams, businesses, events, reunions, and the shirt for the thing you're doing that you haven't told anybody about yet.
